Naldehra is a beautiful place, thickly cedar-forested and situated 2044 meters above sea level. It is located just 22kms ahead of Shimla. Naldehra means the abode of God 'Nal'. The blue skies, lush green forests and an occasional rainbow thrown in makes the place look like it has been painted on a canvas. The main highlight of Naldehra is the oldest golf course of India, which has the reputation of being the most challenging. This 18-hole golf course was designed by the British Viceroy of India, Lord Curzon since he was so mesmerised by the beauty of this place. The Naldehra of today is a full-fledged golf and leisure destination.
