Baisaran is a beautiful meadow, in Anantnag District of Jammu and Kashmir. 5 kms from Pahalgam, perched at 8000 feet above sea level is a lush, undulating meadow surrounded by thick woody forests of pine and hills with dense vegetation. This region looks very similar to European resorts and is a good campsite. It is fondly known as the mini-Switzerland of India with its dense tall conifers. The pine forests and the snow-clad mountains stand like a wall around the valley. This grassy glen offers a panoramic view of Pahalgam town and Lidder Valley.
Baisaran Meadow can be reached by walk or by pony trek from Pahalgam.
