Synopsis
Jackie's (Jackie Chan) current project is stealing and selling pieces of a prized medieval armour from an African tribe to collectors who know it as the "Armour of God", a symbol for the "one true god." When a criminal religious sect kidnaps the girl that Jackie lost to his pop-star friend Alan and hold her for ransom of the Armour, Jackie and Alan hit the road for Yugoslavia.

- Jackie Chan was supposed to be Asia's answer to an Indiana Jones kind of adventurer. He is called the Asian Hawk in this movie.
- In a simple stunt in this movie, Jackie was injured badly. While in Yugoslavia filming Armour of God, Jackie fell while jumping to a tree branch. Unfortunately, he fell head first onto rocks and fractured his skull. A piece of his skull cracked and shot up into his brain, and blood poured from his ears. He was taken to the hospital and was operated on. He made a full recovery, but he lost some of the hearing in his right ear.
- The movie has one of the most memorable and unexpected fight scenes where Jackie fights with four Amazonian women.
