Synopsis

Amongst the communal riots, Tara Singh (Sunny Deol) shelters a Sakina (Amisha Patel) from a crazed mob and the two eventually get married and have a son. When Sakina learns that her father is still alive in Pakistan, she goes to visit him. But he has other plans and wants her to start her life anew in Pakistan. Then begins an extraordinary journey which will lead Tara to cross the border into Pakistan to find his love, Sakina.
