Synopsis

Narendra (Rajeev Kapoor) meets Ganga (Mandakini), a beautiful village girl in Gangotri.They marry and he returns to Calcutta with a promise to return and escort her to his family. However his father cunningly fixes his marriage with another woman. Here Ganga is pregnant and thus begins the struggle to win the battle against all odds for the sake of love and truth.
