The erstwhile home of his highness Bhairon Singhji, heritage hotel Bhairon Vilas overlooks the majestic Junagarh Fort in Bikaner, Rajasthan, India. The most attractive feature about heritage hotel Bhairon Vilas is the fact that there is a Bhairon temple located within the palace. It was found while digging the ground to place the foundation stone it was believed to be an omen of good luck & good fortune. The Haveli is a landmark building because many distinguished dignitaries have visited Bhairon Vilas. Important amongst them were Lord Themsford, Lord Hardinge, Lord Curzon and all Viceroys & Governor Generals of India. The 18 massive Bhairon Vilas rooms feature traditional Jharokas and period furniture. Each room has it's own unique style and highlights the legendary history of the Bikaner. Bhairon Vilas is an unusual hotel with quirky decorations and wonderful colours and design. Rooms are eclectically decorated with antique clothes, bearskins and old family photographs. You may have a room filled with pieces from colonial era India such as pictures, rifles, stuffed animals and old carpets, or with pink walls inlaid with dozens of small mirrors! The hotel is run by Harshvardhan Singh, great-grandson of the former Prime Minister of Bikaner.
