The scenic Gangavaram beach is located on the south of Vizag near Visakhapatnam Steel Plant and the beach. It is beautifully lined with palm trees. One of the many fishing hamlets on the coast of Bay of Bengal, Gangavaram has a beautiful stretch of beach, developed by the Steel Plant. It is 26kms south of Vizag. Due to a picturesque coastline a steady growth of tourists is seen here. This beach with soft sands and cool breeze always provides a secluded atmosphere. The beach is only available for sightseeing and swimming is strictly forbidden.It is a beautiful picnic spot to get away from the busy city.
