Just 21 km west of Jabalpur, is a small village called Bhedaghat. The village is world famous for splendid Marble Rocks on the banks of Narmada River. Covered with dark volcanic seams of green and black, they tower to almost 100 ft above the soft flowing Narmada on either side. The perpendicular magnesium limestone rocks fringe the crystal clear placid waters of the Narmada providing a fascinating site. For Kilometers at a stretch, there are Marble Rocks, white and high and River Narmada flows between these rocks for many kilometers. And it is a scene to watch especially during full moon night, riding on a boat in the river between Marble rocks is beauty beyond description.
